I never forget a good dress — and when it comes to the Sex and The City series, there’s an overabundance of them that forever sticks with me and the franchise’s beloved followers. Hello? Could we ever forget the iconic season one, episode six, naked dress (named by Charlotte York) that Carrie was photographed in for a bus ad. And later, she decides she will wear it on a date with Mr. Big. Or how about her LBD worn in season two, episode 15? The answer, no. Both dresses are otherwise simple but show the true persona that is Carrie Bradshaw, earning the title of the “Carrie Dress.”

As we gear up for the high-anticipated premiere of And Just Like That… in December, it looks like Carrie may have just found herself a new “Carrie Dress.” Spotted on set of the new movie, there she was — a lone Bradshaw walking through a sidestreet in Tribeca in a mature powder blue dress looking as if time hadn’t passed at all. The dress in question? A $215 Norma Kamali one-shoulder ruched stretch-jersey dress. Her style evolution is noted in this one moment. Swapping her little black dress for a little blue dress, her new look is mature, elegant, and a tad bit longer than her notable dresses of yesteryear. She opts to pair it with a structured blazer and, of course, dazzling heels and a complimentary clutch — some things never change.

The Norma Kamali “Carrie” dress, officially named the Norma Kamali “Diana” dress, is oh-so appropriate for what we predict for Carrie in her 50’s, and it’s already holding power even before the official debut. If you too are loving the flattering dress, you’re in luck. We did some searching and found the exact piece available for you to shop now.
