Tennis stars have long weaved into the fashion world, racking up numerous campaigns almost as plentiful as their wins on the court. The latest tennis champ to add model to his résumé is the No.1 singles player in the world, Carlos Alcaraz, who bared (almost) all for Calvin Klein’s latest campaign.

Alcaraz modeled in the brand’s “Calvins or nothing” series, photographed by Gray Sorrenti, in a stripped-back (and stripped-down) shoot. The tennis champ, who made headlines for winning the 2022 US Open against Casper Ruud, started off in a pair of the brand’s new Classic Straight denim before posing in various pairs of underwear including the Modern Cotton, Cotton Stretch and Cotton Classic Underwear. He also sported styles from the new Calvin Klein 1996 Underwear collection, out next week.

In an accompanying video Alcaraz said, “Confidence for me is to be yourself, no matter what.”

He looked right at home modeling the styles and shared an image on his Instagram captioning the post, “This was fun! 😜 Calvins or nothing! 😍.”

The “Calvins or nothing” campaign first kicked off in Fall 2022 with actor and singer-songwriter Maya Hawke and professional footballer Romelu Lukaku.

Calvin Klein is long known for tapping young talents. In September, Lila Grace Moss followed in her mother Kate Moss’ footsteps starring in the brand’s Fall 2022 campaign alongside other stars like BlackPink’s Jennie, Chloë Sevigny, Euphoria’s Dominic Fike, Pose’s Mj Rodriguez, Susan Sarandon, Precious Lee, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (photographed and directed by Alasdair McLellan).

We won’t see Alcaraz playing in the next major tennis event at the Australian Open due to a right leg injury, but no doubt it will be the first of many more fashion partnerships to come.
