Coach’s iconic Tabby Shoulder Bag – a modern take on an archival 1970s Coach design – has been updated. Following the house’s exciting collaboration with American sporting giant, Champion, the New York brand is continuing its fight for comfort with a new plush release: the Coach Pillow Tabby.
The sensual, pillow-like silhouette features soft Napa leather and comes in six playful colors from pink to chalk. To celebrate its release, Coach ambassadors Camila Morrone, Jennifer Lopez, Paloma Elsesser, Binx Walton, and Quincy were captured by photographer Juergen Teller each squeezing an oversized Pillow Tabby, custom-made for the shoot.
“I thought Juergen would be great to photograph this campaign,” said Coach Creative Director, Stuart Vevers. “He has a uniquely tongue-in-cheek approach and I knew he could capture the warm, intimate, and playful point of view that celebrates the special qualities of our Pillow Tabby bag.”
Just as the Bottega Veneta cassette bag was given a cushioned update courtesy of Daniel Lee, here’s hoping the Pillow Tabby is here for the long-haul. And better yet, Mr Vevers, can you please release the oversized Pillow Tabbies to the public?
