Nordstrom today announced that merchandise from South Korean superstar band BTS will soon be available in stores. According to a bilingual English and Korean post on Nordstrom.com: “Set a reminder: your favorite artists’ tees, hoodies, stickers and more—including items inspired by the hit song ‘Butter’—are dropping at Nordstrom February 25 at midnight PT online and at store opening in selected locations. Official merchandise produced by HYBE.”

BTS stan and fan social media accounts have recently speculated on this new retail development—posting videos to Twitter showing band-branded products being unloaded at Nordstrom:

Some Nordstrom locations placed products on shelves earlier than expected (the official launch date is February 25):

Nordstrom plans to celebrate the launch of BTS-themed merchandise with special in-store events: “Join us in selected stores as we celebrate the launch of BTS THEMED MERCH with music, snacks, photos and more.” The items will also be available on the Nordstrom website.

The BTS song ‘Butter’ was released as a digital single in May 2021. It has since achieved multi-platinum status and, this week, set the record for the most number of weeks at the top of Billboard’s ‘Hot Trending Songs’ chart.
