Bronx and Banco has kicked off New York Fashion Week with soft statement evening wear, accompanied by a striking bronzed makeup look and intricate summertime braids. Models – including Scott Disick‘s now-ex, Amelia Hamlin, who closed the show – wore detailed hairstyles tailored to each individual hair type, from plaits and twists to micro braids.

The Australian label chose UNITE Hair Care to create the elaborate hair looks, with the team sparing no effort by adding in additional materials, including ribbons, into the plaits and braids of some of the models. This simple addition brought an element of fun and interest to each customized look, for an overall playful aesthetic that felt ready-made for summer.

Glossy bronze lids, neatly feathered arches and apricot-hued cheeks also lent the look warm weather appeal, seamlessly tying in with the ocean-inspired detailing seen throughout the collection.
