the story of a woman named Tessica Brown who purposely doused her
hair with Gorilla Glue to lock her hairstyle into place after
running out of her go-to Got2B Glued Blasting Freeze
Spray. Unsurprisingly, the industrial-strength formula worked
wonders on keeping her hairstyle intact—but also resulted
in a trip to the hospital when the glue remained bonded to her hair
weeks later.
In a statement released from the Gorilla Glue Company, a
representative stated: “This product is not indicated for use in or
on hair as it is considered permanent.” Nevertheless, the American
brand says it’s “very sorry to hear about the unfortunate
incident.”
