The 2022 Billboard Music Awards brought out many memorable moments from music’s biggest stars. As musicians from all genres gathered to celebrate chart-topping powerhouses of the year at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, they all embraced their signature style with some stop-and-stare fashion.
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly turned heads with another matching moment, Anitta gave a dress from the new “Fendace” collection a spin, and of course, there was plenty of other right-off-the-runway looks you don’t want to miss. Below, catch up on all the fashion from music’s big night.
Doja Cat
Doja was out of this world in her Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown with sculptural corset, sheer bandeau that elongates into a train and gold pasties. She kept it all on-brand with Schiaparelli statement earrings, gold cap-toe heels (that feature actual toes!) and a gold Saturn handbag.
Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly
The couple continued their coordinating ways in black and silver looks. Fox chose a plunging David Koma gown with silver-accented sleeves, with Loree Rodkin ring, that matched Kelly’s embellished top and spike-adorned cropped jacket and pants.
Janet Jackson
The superstar singer made a grand entrance during the show in a Thom Browne suit, featuring a cropped tuxedo jacket, skinny tie, corset and skirt, and topped it all off with a top hat.
Megan Thee Stallion
The superstar showed some major skin on the carpet before taking home the top rap female artist award. She chose a Mugler ruched bra top with twisted straps and connected train, a mini skirt with jewel-adorned cutout, and ankle-strap Jimmy Choo sandals.
Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott
The couple made it a family night with their 4-year-old daughter Stormi, to watch Scott take the stage for his first televised performance since the tragedy that occurred during his show at Astroworld last November. Kylie walked the carpet in a blue-gray Balmain high-neck curve-hugging gown, while Travis wore an olive green suit, white shirt and Nike sneakers with matching green laces.
Teyana Taylor
Teyana Taylor kept her look cool and casual, the recipe for a memorable look at any music award show, in her SKIMS bra and ultra low-rise black pants, worn with silver belt and chains, oversize chainlink necklace, and chunky black boots.
Mary J. Blige
Mary J. Blige showed up looking like the icon she is, wearing a dazzling black Julien Macdonald cutout gown with sheer accents throughout, a high center slit at the skirt and plunging neckline, before being awarded the 2022 Icon Award.
Anitta
The Brazilian star snagged a look from the buzzy new Fendi x Versace collab (dubbed Fendace) in her pink metal mesh gown with “FF” and “V” logos, teamed with Tiffany & Co. jewels.
Florence Welch
Days after releasing her her new album, Dance Fever, the singer took the stage at the Billboard Music Awards giving fans a powerful performance in her signature ethereal style, wearing a sheer long-sleeve dress with lace trim paired with red lace-up ballet slippers.
Chloe Bailey
Chloe gave the exposed thong trend a red carpet spin in her high-neck, strong-shoulder black gown with large cutout.
Diddy and Christian Combs
The host of the evening walked the carpet alongside his 24-year-old son, Christian. Diddy chose a white double-breasted tuxedo with matching shirt and pants before making a few outfit changes throughout the night, while Christian wore a yellow Etro paisley-printed button-down shirt with bright yellow pants, white sneakers and diamond necklaces.
Giveon
Keeping things cool in a green tweed Bottega Veneta suit jacket and pants, the singer accessorized with black boots and Tiffany & Co. jewels.
Becky G
Becky G brought sparkle and feathers in her lilac Zuhair Murad Couture beaded one-shoulder cocktail with Jimmy Choo platform heels.
