Ever since Bennifer reunited, we haven’t been able to get enough of them — and now it’s looking like the families of the respective celebs are getting along just fine. A source close to the nostalgic couple has said in an interview “J.Lo and Ben’s families are getting along great and they are making an effort to take things slow when it comes to their kids.”
Jennifer Lopez, 51, shares 13-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Anthony and Lopez split in 2011 after seven years of marriage due to “irreconcilable differences.” Ben Affleck shares his children Violet, 15, Seraphina, 12, and Samuel, 9 with ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Garner and Affleck split in 2015 after reports came out that Affleck was romantically involved with their 28-year-old nanny, with their divorce announcement stating “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children.”
Last week, Bennifer, their kids and a team of security were seen spending a day at Universal Studios sporting ponchos and boarding Jurassic World: The Ride together. An onlooker at the theme park said Affleck and J-Lo “definitely looked in love. They were walking shoulder to shoulder and holding hands.”

Now that the power couple who dominated a good portion of the early 2000s is back, it looks like they are in the process of creating loving memories and experiences with one another. It’s a big step to get your kids involved, but a sign that things are going well between the two. Sharing family experiences together shows an amount of trust that comes alongside confidence in a relationship.
A source close to the couple recently stated “Whether they end up together or not, it’s good for both of them now. And not that surprising.”
This seems like important progress for the couple, as things have been arguably questionable as to whether or not they have actually made it official. But for right now, what we can see is that they are testing the waters and building a foundation for what could be the romantic reunion of the 2020s.
