Bella Hadid has hit back at us with another stylish and sporty ensemble. Yesterday, while out and about in New York City, Bella was spotted sporting a oversized blue Nike windbreaker over top a white graphic t-shirt, complete with matching navy blue baggy swish pants. This look is reminiscent of other sporty outfits Bella has been known to rock on the streets, and the hair is a little nod to a trend Hadid has been following lately.
Yesterday, Bella posted to Instagram a photo of herself with her hair neatly combed back and a beanie overtop, with a little braid coming out of the hat. This hairstyle is extremely reminiscent to the hairstyle worn in the sporty spice Hadid pictures we’re seeing now. Do we spy a new trend in the making?
Alongside the running pattern of hairstyles, Hadid also is currently in the pattern of giving us look after look for fall inspiration. In her Instagram post, Hadid wore a black little dress with a thick, stocky yellow scarf around her neck, which perfectly combines the combination weather that many places are experiencing right now.
Now, with Hadid’s most recent sporty look, it gives us the same remedy to the combination weather that can be oh so tricky to plan and coordinate for. The windbreaker is a light and loose garment, and while it does give a shape and style to the outfit, it’s not necessary for its success. If Bella were to lose the windbreaker as the weather got hotter throughout the day, then the outfit would still work. Moral of the story, bring a light jacket.
This isn’t the first time Bella has been seen wearing looks inspired by athletics, such as her semi-recent outing in a head-to-toe tenniscore outfit, or that time she completely channeled the 90s in a Stussy tracksuit. Hadid likes to combine the practical with the style, and that is the perfect mentality to carry with you into streetwear.
