As you may have seen last week, Hailey Bieber was seen out and about with an oversized crewneck long sleeve shirt that could only be described as the perfect fall outfit. This type of shirt channels an oversized boyfriend shirt look, whether or not it’s actually Justin’s, well that’s up for debate. But now, it looks like Bella Hadid has followed suit with this trend, as she was seen in New York City yesterday wearing an equally blousy button-up that gave us all sorts of cozy, autumnal cuffing season vibes.
The model could be seen in a shirt reminiscent of something your middle-aged father might wear to the office, but with Hadid’s presence and glamor, turned it fashion. The sleeves were kept long and billowing, just covering her hands and essentially all parts of her body except for a glimpse into her neckline.
Speaking of the neckline, Hadid wore a red and white beaded necklace to accompany the outfit, reminiscent of some early aughts trends that center around plastic jewelry in bright and bold colors. Speaking of trend revivals, we haven’t even touched on the hair yet.
Hadid kept her signature dark hair back and off her face with a simple and sleek headband that recently, has fallen out of favor but yet does oh so much for the styling of the look. While the outfit is big and blousy, the hair is clean and chic, giving contrast to Hadid’s aesthetic. To chic up this boyfriend shirt look even more, Hadid sported a pair of mini, elliptical sunglasses, reminiscent of a fashionable villain in a spy movie.
