After 11 months, Amelia Hamlin and Scott Disick’s relationship came to abrupt end earlier this month after the reality star made some very unkind comments about his ex, Kourtney Kardashian. Hamlin is yet to publicly comment on the breakup and instead keeps publishing cryptic messages to social media. How very Gen Z of her.
On Instagram stories overnight, the 20-year-old model published a quote which seems to be directed at her ex. “The longer you entertain what’s not for you, the longer you postpone what is,” read the quote. “Read that again.”
We’re unsure what Disick has said or done behind the scenes, but past relationships tell us he doesn’t move on quite that easily. Hamlin however is killing it at fashion week and has been spotted a number of times on the runway as well as on the red carpet.
It comes after Hamlin published a selfie of her tank top mere days before the couple called it quits that read: “Don’t you have a girlfriend?”.
Hamlin’s mother, Lisa Rinna, has since commented on the rocky relationship. In a conversation on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the actress practically spoke through her teeth about past comments she made about Disick.
“You know, I’ve actually been quite nice about Scott Disick,” she said on national television. “And I would never say that out loud, anything. I might have thought things that weren’t very good. Can I atone for my thoughts?”
Amid the breakup, a source close to the model said Hamlin was feeling quite embarrassed by the whole drama.
“They have been arguing a lot recently and Scott’s DMs to Younes really set Amelia over the edge,” a source told E! News. “She was very embarrassed over that whole situation and Scott wasn’t very remorseful. It’s really hard to date Scott because he will never fully be over Kourtney. It’s always a point of contention in every single one of his relationships. The split was a long time coming and many of their friends agree it’s for the best.”
