In a new interview with everyone’s favorite woman, Drew Barrymore, everyone’s other favorite Oscar-award winning woman, Allison Janney, opened up about having not yet found her perfect match, or having started a family.

The 61-year-old appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show earlier this week where Barrymore asked Janney if she’s at the point where she’s no longer looking to add marriage and children into her life.

“I think if I would have found the right guy at the right time who wanted to have kids, I probably would have, with the right partner, because I wasn’t ever really confident that I wanted to have kids,” Janney replied.

“I would rather regret not having kids than have kids and regret that,” she continued. “I’m OK with it.”

“I really am, this time in my life, getting to know who I am and what I want. So, I’d love to eventually find someone to share my life with, but if it doesn’t happen, I think I’ll be just fine. But it would be nice.”

Janney went on to relay a time when she tried to flirt with a man but ended up with hair extensions falling on the ground—the perfect way to ruin any ounce of feeling sexy.

“One time, I was flirting with this guy,” she began. “I was walking down the street in New York, and I was just kind of putting my hands through my hair, and two extensions came out, and I was just dropping them on the ground.” She went on to call it one of her “low moments.”

Of course, Barrymore has been open about her experience in the dating world, even revealing she briefly tried out celebrity dating app Raya

In an incredibly relatable tale, Barrymore said she thought Raya would fulfill her lifelong dream of going on a blind date after her friends hyped her up, but that she “did terribly,” it was a “car wreck,” and she “got stood up by a guy who owned a restaurant.”

Sounds about right, Raya.
