As Hollywood prepares itself for the 80th Golden Globes this Tuesday, Jan. 10, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has officially announced its list of celebrity presenters who will assist the awards ceremony throughout the evening.
Next week, you can expect to see Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis and Niecy Nash-Betts, as well as Ana Gasteyer, Billy Porter, Colman Domingo, Natasha Lyonne, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Nicole Byer, Quentin Tarantino and Tracy Morgan.

The Golden Globe Awards will be televised in a three-hour broadcast airing live from the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles. Hosting the Golden Globes this year will be comedian and Emmy winner Jerrod Carmichael. While the evening is renowned for recognizing excellence in both film and television categories, this year’s ceremony will also include tributes to Ryan Murphy, who will receive the fourth Carol Burnett Award, and Eddie Murphy, who will be honored with the Cecil B. DeMille Award for his “outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment.”
While the excitement around the 80th Golden Globes is building, the prestigious ceremony has not been without its share of backlash and scandal. Most notably, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association has experienced a two-year backlash following the lack of diversity among its membership and complaints of unethical business practices. The scandal came after a damning report made by the L.A. Times unearthing that “while the HFPA’s ranks include a number of people of color, there are no Black members.”
This year, The Whale star Brendan Fraser will also not be attending the ceremony — despite being nominated for his performance in the best actor category — pledging to skip the 2023 Golden Globes after accusing a HFPA leader of sexual assault in 1982.
The 80th Golden Globes will also see other no-shows, but not in acts of defiance. Hugh Jackman (The Son) won’t be in attendance as he is starring on Broadway in The Music Man. John Lithgow (The Old Man) is shooting a series in Europe, and Diego Luna (Andor) is currently in production for the second season of the wildy popular Star Wars series.
