We know, we know, we’ve abandoned you for the past few weeks (forgive us)? But we’re back to offer up a fresh, curated roundup of things we’ve been obsessing over this week (and trust me they’re good). This week we have a street style moment from our queen, Rihanna (when we said street style moment, you automatically thought of Rih too, right?), a holistic, self-aware album courtesy of our favorite royal—or non royal—Lorde, a collaborative bracelet celebrating the beauty, resilience and hope of Haiti, yes another green item (what can we say, that Bottega green has us in a chokehold) and many other tastefully selected moments.

I mean, we hate to sound like a broken record, but who’s doing it like her?

Our “Melodrama” maven, Lorde is back with a brand new album, with a brand new sound. Sonically it brings to mind Kate Bush or Stevie Nicks, with its ethereal prose and departure from the more synth pop sounds of her prior smash album. Now with her holistic, serene sound—and accompanying sunshine-yellow color palette—this album feels like summer, it feels like shedding your skin and finding serenity.
Bff x haus of cité soleil
Conceptual online retail and educational fashion platform, Black Fashion Fair—Founded by image maker, stylist and overall fashion historian, Antoine Gregory—teamed up with Haitian design house, Haus of Cité Soleil—founded by designer David Jean—to produce a capsule collection inspired by the beauty, resilience and hope of Haiti. With funds contributing to the country’s restoration efforts, much like BFF’s mission, this is fashion with purpose.

Mario Bellini CHIARA FLOOR LAMP
By now you know, we’re suckers for great Italian design like Ettore Sottsass,Carlo Scarpa and Mario Bellini—we seriously dream of that Camaleonda sofa. Speaking of Mario Bellini, his 1969 polished stainless cylinder floor lamp, The Chiara, is a thing of beauty. It’s the perfect definition of form meets function.
