Country music, at least in today’s day and age, sparks images of cowboy hats (which usually aren’t as glamorous as Lil Nas X’s) and glitzy gowns worn to sing soulful ballads of love lost and oftentimes, a lá The Chicks, revenge. Last night, the fashion at the 55th Annual Country Music Association Awards gave us all sorts of looks, ranging from the sleekly minimal to the embellished maximalism that catch eyes left and right. For the world of country music, last night was the time to shine, and there were plenty of looks that did not disappoint.

Last night’s award ceremony took place at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, which of course is a iconic town in the country music industry.
