The Emmys are back!

After delays in filming and the SAG-AFTRA strikes saw a switch-up to the usual awards season calendar, the Emmys—which typically take place in September—are finally taking place on January 15, 2024. Held at the Peacock Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles, the ceremony, which quickly follows the Critics Choice Awards, is the biggest night in television, where the shows that took over our screens revel in their success.

Anthony Anderson, comedian and star of Black-ish is hosting the evening’s festivities, marking his first stint at the gig.

As expected, HBO shows dominated the award nominations when they were announced in July last year. The top three nominees (Succession with 27, The Last of Us with 24, and The White Lotus with 23) were all smash hits from the network. Due to the delay in holding the ceremony, many of the shows date back a while. Other nominees this year include Netflix’s Wednesday and Stranger Things, Fleishman Is in Trouble, Only Murders In the Building, and The Bear’s first season.

And with all the star talent gunning for the Emmy statue trophy, you can bet the fashion will be up to scratch.
