It’s been reported that People‘s “Sexiest Man Alive,” Chris Evans is dating Portuguese actress Alba Baptista, 25. (We know, we’re selfishly sad, too.) The pair was spotted on Thursday, holding hands in Central Park in photographs obtained by Page Six. A source close to the couple told People, they’ve been together for “over a year and it’s serious.” They added, “They are in love and Chris has never been happier. His family and friends all adore her.”
So, who is Evans’ new romantic interest? Baptista cut her teeth in the movie industry in 2012 with the short film Amanhã é um Novo Dia. Since then, the star has gone on to land several television roles throughout the years, and had multiple projects in 2022.
This year, Baptista starred in The Child, Field of Blood, Nothing Ever Happened, Warrior Nun, and Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris. In the latter film, Baptista played Natasha, an Audrey Hepburn-esque Parisian runway model who befriended the titular Mrs. Harris. The movie also starred The Crown’s Lesley Manville, Emily in Paris’ Lucas Bravo, Isabelle Huppert, and Harry Potter alum Jason Isaacs.
With three more projects on the way in post-production, Baptista is busier than ever.

The actress was born and raised in Lisbon. In a 2020 interview, Baptista told Universo Online that, in addition to speaking Portuguese and English, she speaks French, Spanish, and German. Baptista has also dabbled in modeling, appearing in Vogue Portugal and GQ. Last year, she was rumored to be dating her Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris co-star Lucas Bravo after the pair were spotted on vacation with one another.
Evans has been previously romantically linked to Jessica Biel, Emmy Rossum, Lily Collins, Minka Kelly and Jenny Slate.
