It’s only day three of Milan fashion week, and there’s already been plenty of must-see moments on the Milanese runways. But thanks to TOD’s, we finally got not one, but two, buzzy supermodel moments. Creative director Walter Chiapponi tapped two iconic supermodels — Naomi Campbell and Carla Bruni — who strutted down the runway in the Spring-Summer 2023 collection.
At 52 years old, Campbell is still a mainstay on the runway, walking (with her signature strut) in the biggest shows of the season. The new mom donned a beige trench coat cinched at the waist paired with matching pants, sandals, and an oversized tote bag.

Amping up the star power even more was fellow supermodel and former first lady of France, Carla Bruni. The model, 54, looked statuesque and poised in a two-piece beige suit layered with a long overcoat and accessorized with a matching top-handle bag.

It’s not the first we’ve seen Campbell on the runway during the Milan shows, and we hope it won’t be the last. Just earlier in the day, Campbell walked the Boss Spring-Summer 2023 show.
Other supers stormed the runways during New York Fashion Week, including Shalom Harlow at COS and Proenza Schouler, and of course, Linda Evangelista, who shut down Fendi’s Baguette bag anniversary celebration. We’re ready for more model mania.
