Luna Simone Stephens

Celebrity children are using extra time at home due to the COVID-19 pandemic to hone in on their passions. For example, as GRAZIA discovered last week, nine-year-old Harper Beckham quietly becoming a makeup artist. Now, it appears as though she might have some younger competition. On Sunday, November 15, four-year-old Luna Simone Stephens gave mom Chrissy Teigen and dad, John Legend, one-of-a-kind theatrical makeovers that you need to see to believe.

The model posted a series of photos and videos to her Instagram feed documenting her daughter’s creative process. Using pigmented stage makeup, Stephens applied silver powder all over mom and dad’s face, and the result is a cross between the Tin Man from The Wizard of Oz and an intergalactic creature. It appears as though Stephens prepped mom’s lips with a product that made that sparkly silver powder stick to her pout. In one photo, the little girl patiently —and dare we say, expertly? — applies the lip product to mom’s lips. In the next, Teigen’s face and mouth are coated entirely in the silver metal-inspired sheen. The former Sports Illustrated Swimsuit cover star doesn’t seem to mind.

Stephens gave makeup artist Nova Kaplan a makeover, too. Instead of covering the beauty pro in sparkly silver powder, she gave her what looks like a Smurf-inspired design. Kaplan shared a video on Instagram of everyone sporting Stephens’ creations and sarcastically said, “A very casual day watching Letterman.” Clearly, the bold creations were far from low-key.

Teigen’s 33 million Instagram followers got a kick out of the little girl’s skills. “Is she available for makeovers when this pandemic ends?” a follower asked in the comments section of Teigen’s post. Another wrote, “She had a vision!”

A day before this epic makeover, Teigen shared a snap of her daughter styling an undisclosed individual’s hair. For the photo, she wore a long brown dress accessorized with a blue bow, looking like a professional. The Cravings author captioned the pic, “f o c u s e d.”

All things considered, Stephens might just have what it takes to be a professional stage makeup artist. After all, her portfolio is already pretty impressive.
