Ever since Amal Clooney was first spotted with her future husband George Clooney, she always stepped out in pieces from her impeccable a high-fashion wardrobe. Nearly eight years of marriage and two kids later, the lawyer and human rights activist is still delivering that stylish-with-a-twist sense of style we know and love. In fact, her evening wear has never been better.
While the Clooney’s have been keeping a low-profile lately, the two have been stepping out in Lake Como within the last few weeks for the most chic date nights, dressing in red carpet-ready attire. Throughout the month of July, they’ve been spotted three times, each in looks more glam than the next.
On July 25, the couple headed out for a night, with Amal choosing a very bridal-ready look for the occasion. She wore a strapless white lace mini dress, complete with long drop earrings, a gold clutch and matching sandals. George wore a tan suit sans tie.
On the 15th, Amal chose another white look for a stop at Grand Hotel Tremezzo, in a mockneck A-line white sleeveless 16Arlington mini dress with feathery hem, while George wore another suit, this time in gray.
On July 10, Amal sported one of her most sparkly, sexiest looks to date, in a shimmery green sequin slip dress from Ermanno Scervino, with touches of lace along the neckline and hem.
It made us recall some other date night looks from the star that have already gone down in street style history. You may recall how she made a peplum top and fit-and-flare skirt sexy in her green off-the-shoulder look in 2019.
There was also her one-shoulder ruched mini dress date night look, also from 2019.
And of course, the gold lamé dress that puts every other gold lamé dress to shame, when she showed up in the slinky gold number in Ibiza in 2015.
We hope all of these recent ultra-glam Lake Como looks are getting the couple back in the swing of things for red carpet appearances when George’s new film, Ticket to Paradise, comes out in October. He stars alongside Julia Roberts in the rom-com, which is already generating a lot of buzz (mostly because Roberts joked it was going to “be terrible.”) We for one are already craving more high-fashion from the gorgeous couple.
