Gucci Vault Emerging Designer project Does Alessandro Michele ever sleep? It seems highly unlikely given the tremendous year filled with glorious activations and collaborations celebrating Gucci’s 100th anniversary. From his spectacular Gucci Love Parade in Los Angeles that still has us on the edge of our seats to the Balenciaga “hacker” project (now available to shop), it’s safe to say he’s booked and busy — and with only a little over a month left in 2021, he’s not planning on stopping now. For his latest project, the creative director is giving space to 12 emerging jewelry designers on the Gucci Vault platform.

ICYMI, Gucci Vault launched back in September during Milan Fashion Week as a digital concept store with limited edition drops throughout the year, mainly from the house’s extensive archive. Handpicked by Michele himself, the latest drop for Gucci Vault represents something old and something new. Along with rare silk blouses and vintage top handle bags from the house, Michele masterfully continues to pay homage to the heritage of the Italian fashion house while also enlisted up-and-coming designers, including British Fashion Awards nominee Bianca Saunders, cult-favorite Bernard James, and more.

This latest Gucci Vault drop shows just how creative, a creative director Michele is. But could this be his last hoorah for the label’s 100th-anniversary fête? Doubt it. We expect Michele to hit us with more excitement until the very last day — whether we’re ready or not (more so the former). Ahead, get to scoop on the full lineup of designers that are now available to shop on vault.gucci.com.
