Kanye West has officially announced the next stadium where he will blessedly premiere (for the third time) his DONDA tribute album. Returning to his hometown after two stints at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, West is bringing his next listening event to Chicago’s Soldier Field on August 26.

On Wednesday, West unveiled a flyer via his personal Instagram account with the upcoming listening party details, announcing that ticket sales begin August 20. We aren’t sure the reasoning for the event since he seems to have no intentions of releasing his tenth studio project, but perhaps the All Of The Lights rapper is taking his supporters on a tour of his youth as he was born in Atlanta and raised in Chicago.

According to Dazed, the news of West’s relocation to another city first came from KayCyy, a rapper and collaborator on the forthcoming album. “We’re moving to another stadium,” KayCyy wrote in a now-deleted tweet. From the looks of the internet’s response, it seems the gesture of a third listening session is coldly welcomed after awaiting for the album have left fans screaming into the void.

West began hosting public listening events at Atlanta’s Mercedez-Benz Stadium in July, with his first surprisingly featuring a reunion with Jay Z and the presence of his ex-wife Kim Kardashian. After delaying his release date and transforming the stadium itself into a secondary residence and studio for the album’s final revisions, West presented a follow-up performance with more theatrics as he brought on Balenciaga’s Demna Gvasalia to oversee the artistic direction. While West’s representatives confirmed an August 6 release date and Apple Music suggested a possible August 13, the album has still yet to materialize and a tertiary release date has not been publicized.

In addition to the previously-revealed tracks that feature JAY-Z, Pop Smoke, Lil Baby, the revised DONDA from the second livestream welcomed new features from the Weeknd, Jay Electronica, and the Lox. Fans may appreciate the wondrous glimpse into the artistic process, but honestly Ye’ you know what would be even better? The album.
