Remember when Lizzie McGuire interrupted that lying fool Paolo and sang “What Dreams Are Made Of” on an Italian stage with her doppelganger at the end of The Lizzie McGuire Movie? What am I even saying, of course you do. For all intents and purposes, it does appear that Madison Beer and Victoria’s Secret had that entire concept in mind when developing their dream-like new fragrance, Tease Crème Cloud, out today.
The Tease Crème Cloud is described by the brand as an
“airy,
gourmand fragrance” intended to mimic “a daydream in the clouds.”
It’s designed to be a take on the brand’s ultra-popular Tease
fragrance — still fruity and floral, but replacing the original
notes of black vanilla, frozen pear and blooming white gardenia
with notes of santal flower, sheer amber, and whipped vanilla
meringue to be the more whimsical sister. Tease Crème Cloud is like
Tease’s fun half-sister who spent a summer in the South of France
and looks good in a beret and only wears blush on her nose — so
basically, the
Madison Beer archetype.
“I love a fragrance that adds an extra level of confidence to
whatever look I’m going for — something that’s both sexy and sweet
while still being fresh,” Beer told GRAZIA. “Tease is the perfect
balance of all those feelings.”
The Eau de Parfum comes in two sizes, a 1.7 oz. bottle for $58 and
a 3.4 oz. bottle for $78. The scent also comes as a rollerball,
fragrance mist, lotion, body cream and bath crystals ranging in
price from $18 to $35.
In addition to being the face of the fragrance, the
singer/songwriter
also took the release to an auditory level with an exclusive curated playlist to bring the dream
to real life. Lizzie McGuire may have had a point all the way back
in Italy.
