Los MTV Video Music Awards 2022 se llevaron a cabo el domingo 28 de agosto con todo el éxito, el glamour y el espectáculo esperados.
El evento repleto de estrellas, realizado este año en el Prudential Center de Nueva Jersey, tuvo una serie de nominaciones históricas para algunos de los artistas más influyentes de la música.
Por ejemplo, Bad Bunny hizo historia tras convertirse en el primer artista de habla hispana en ganar el premio al Mejor Artista del año.
El puertorriqueño tenía cuatro nominaciones a los VMA: Artista del Año, Mejor Canción Latina, Canción del Verano y Álbum del Año.
Doja Cat, Jack Harlow y Harry Styles, por su parte, lideraron el camino para obtener la mayor cantidad de nominaciones para la noche, obteniendo ocho cada uno.
Detrás de ellos estarían Lil Nas X y Kendrick Lamar, quienes también empataron con siete nominaciones cada uno.
Finalmente, Billie Eilish, Drake, Dua Lipa, Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift y The Weeknd obtuvieron cinco nominaciones cada uno.
Entre los nominados por primera vez estuvieron Baby Keem, GAYLE, Kacey Musgraves, Måneskin, Anitta, Becky G, Dove Cameron, Karol G, ITZY, JID, Muni Long, Tems, y Wet Leg.
