In July this year, Zendaya made history as the youngest ever two-time Emmy nominee after she earned her second Outstanding Lead Actress nomination just 25. She was also honoured as the youngest ever producer nominee for her work on Sam Levinson’s HBO series Euphoria – and best believe she is celebrating in all of her sartorial glory.
The actress walked the red carpet at the 74th annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles today wearing a billowing black Maison Valentino gown, dressed as if she will make history again (and she very well could). Styled by her longtime collaborator Law Roach she also wore a Bulgari diamond choker, studs and a ring. Her hair was twisted into a voluminous up-do which was finished with a black ribbon. Very Hollywood pin-up if you ask us.
Zendaya teased her look on Instagram prior to the event writing, “I’m on my way🖤 Emmys 2022.”
Zendaya is joined by her co-star and first-time Emmy nominee Sydney Sweeney this evening who earned a nod in the Best Supporting Actress category for her role as Cassie in Euphoria as well as Olivia in The White Lotus. In 2020, Zendaya made history as the youngest recipient for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series for the same beloved show.
There are rumours she could even make her directorial debut for in the forthcoming season. More Emmy nominations in the making? Stay tuned.
