The emirate that has everything can now add in-mall coronavirus testing to its impressive list of accomplishments.
Thanks to the Dubai Health Authority, residents and citizens now have access to COVID-19 PCR testing at Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, Al Nakheel Mall (Dubai London Clinic), Dubai Mall (Mediclinic) and City Centre Deira.
Testing centres are open from 11am to 9pm. To make an appointment call 800DHA (800342).
PCR stands for Polymerase Chain Reaction, and is currently the only type of testing approved by the local and international health authorities to confirm the diagnosis of COVID-19. PCR tests are undertaken via a nasal swab and are compulsory in the UAE for international travel.
Gentle reminder that these centres are only for those who need negative tests for travel purposes. If you have a fever or any respiratory symptoms, please stay away from the mall and seek medical attention.
