Here in Dubai, we’re incredibly spoilt in the world of fashion, beauty and luxury. From a plethora of luxury sites with same-day delivery, to unique brands to shop all over the emirate, Dubai sets the standard for what seamless and limitless shopping experiences should be.
But, of course, we can never forget the sheer scale of malls available across the city. First, there’s The Dubai Mall in Downtown Dubai, which holds the record for being the largest mall in the world. Then, there’s Mall of the Emirates which first opened in 2005 and is home to Ski Dubai. And for those based on Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel Mall is always a go-to. Let’s also not forget Dubai Hills Mall, which opened at the beginning of 2022.
Yet while Dubai’s malls are the picture of grandiose excellence, to those who live here they morph into something more, particularly if you grew up here. They become a sort of hub where your memories and experiences live in, even far after you outgrown certain spots and stores.
But it got the GRAZIA team thinking: which mall is the most popular mall in Dubai? So, naturally, we decided to investigate, by asking some of the emirate’s most stylish women where their favourite (and least favourite) place to shop is. While there was a mixed consensus, one thing is for sure, regardless of the many different reasons people are pulled into malls here, they serve different purposes to everyone. A place to splurge at the world’s finest luxury stores to some, and an opportunity for new experiences to tick off their bucket list to others. Regardless of what you’re after, there’s a mall somewhere in this city that can deliver.
