On The Final Day Of Wimbledon, Kate Middleton Leads A Very Fashionable Guest List
Discover all the best celebrity style from the final day of competition
The annual Wimbledon Tennis Tournament – and the fashion – came to an end at the weekend with a thrilling men’s singles final between Australia’s Nick Kyrgios and the world number one, Novak Djokovic. Off the grass courts, the event could be considered a sport of celebrity spotting, and at the final match, there was plenty to see.
As is tradition for the Royal Family, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were in attendance overnight with their eldest son, Prince George. Kate Middleton was tasked with presenting the trophies at the conclusion of the match and wore a ruffled polka dot midi dress from Alessandra Rich. The daytime ensemble was paired with contrasting white pumps and Bulgari sunglasses.
She served as just a fashionable prelude to the sporting occasion with A-listers including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Poppy Delevingne, Matt Smith, Paul Mescal and Tom Hiddleston, all dressed in Ralph Lauren, on the exclusive guest list. The former Victoria’s Secret model put a summery twist on the white knitted dress, which was paired with a beige linen blazer. Speaking of linen suiting, Delevingne made a case for the wardrobe staple in a buttery yellow hue.
We can’t forget about the men, which included Tom Hiddleston in a double-breasted suit, while British actor Matt Smith opted for tailored pants and a cream Cuban shirt. Taika Waititi was also in attendance alongside his girlfriend in a pared-down Prada look. And is that Paul Mescal with facial hair?!
