It has been a year since the beauty mogul, Mona Kattan and Dubai-based entrepreneur Hassan Elamin, tied the knot, and they couldn’t be more in love. In December of 2021, content creator and founder of KAYALI perfumes, Mona Kattan announced her engagement to her then-boyfriend Hassan Elamin. In a series of photos she shared on her Instagram, the couple is seen smiling ear-to-ear together, captioning it “Forever Ever 💘 @hassanelamin.” Kattan was seen showing off the diamond ring on her left hand and celebrating the news with her friends and family.
Shortly after their engagement, the couple soon began planning their wedding festivities. The week-long celebration of love began with a small intimate dinner to which all their closest family and friends were invited, followed by their first of two wedding ceremonies. They held an intimate ceremony with only a small circle of family and friends where the two shared their heartfelt vows with one another. While the second wedding was held at a bigger and much more extravagant venue, where the couple extended the invitation to more loved ones so that they could celebrate their love alongside them.
But the question remains, who is Mona Kattan’s mystery man, Hassan Elamin?
In a YouTube video posted by Mona Kattan, “Get To Know My Fiancé, Hassan!” she reveals how the couple had met years ago and were friends on Facebook before they started dating. “I had a crush on him,” Mona laughs as she reveals how they first got to know each other. As the video progresses, we learn more about her husband and their relationship. Hassan’s sister and Mona went to the same university, where they were friends. The pair were acquainted, and they stayed friends until they began dating in 2021. When asked what about Mona he finds attractive, he immediately responds, “Everything. She is the most beautiful, intelligent and kindest woman I’ve ever seen.” We’re swooning over this couple.
Stylish and smart, Hassan graduated with a degree in Ms Insurance and Risk Management from Bayes Business School, London. The entrepreneur started off as an account executive before becoming the Head of Facultative, Middle East, Africa and Türkiye at Aon Reinsurance Solutions, where he currently works. He also admits that he is a crypto enthusiast in the video. When he is not sharing lovely photos of himself and his wife on his Instagram, he occasionally shows his interest in fitness and fashion there.
Hassan likes spending his time between family, friends and fitness and he also shares a close-knit bond with his siblings, Sally and Ahmed Elamin. They also had a shared Instagram account called @the.elmains, where they hinted at the launch of their fashion brand, “Elamins,” captioning a picture, ‘The brand with the brain.’ The date for the launch of the brand is yet to be known.
In recent news, Mona Kattan and Hassan Elamin have decided the commemorate their wedding anniversary by launching two new, his and hers fragrances with KAYALI perfumes, called “The Wedding.” With notes of sandalwood, white freesia, cedarwood and more, these two fragrances are sure to encapsulate their love in a bottle.
