A self-proclaimed “OG Louboutin girl” Jawaher Al Suwaidi has joined Christian Louboutin to launch the brand’s 2024 Ramadan collection.
Surrounded by the French label’s signature red at the Dubai Mall flagship, the Emirati fashion creator and entrepreneur spoke to GRAZIA about the collaboration which centres around striking hues, textures and patterns, a range of heels, sneakers and bags.

Complete with pieces for women and men, the newest Christian Louboutin line boasts complexities not only in design, but in story as well. Pulling from the wealth of meaning and customs the Islamic religion holds, Jawaher walked us through the details of the collection.
“The collection has an exclusive colour that they’ve launched specially for this Ramadan collection,” she began. “It’s a beautiful blue colour, and it also has a special Ramadan pattern.” Inspired by Islamic art, several pieces of the edit feature layers of the perplexing Moucharabieh pattern intertwined with layers of crystals and suede. For instance, their hero product, the “MOUCHARASTRASS 100”, is covered in the elegant yet elaborate pattern on its pointed-toe silhouette.
While the trending colour already over-delivers on the striking element, the Christian Louboutin 2024 Ramadan collection doesn’t stop there. Engulfed in strass, some of the pieces also boast tiny glistening rhinestones across its entire body.
“You know, we love crystals here,” Jawaher explains in reference to the region’s love affair with opulence and intricacy. “We love anything that shines, and these pieces are just beautiful, with so many sparkles.”
For the unapologetic
While modest religious pieces usually speak to a more subdued minimalist take, the French label’s Ramadan edit does away with that expectation. Grounded in the loud, from texture to the way it catches the light, this Louboutin collection is for the unafraid.
“It’s for you to take the risk,” Jawaher states as her favourite thing about the entire capsule. “It’s not for the simple, or the ones who want to blend, it’s for the ones who aren’t scared to stand out.”
