You read that right, Victoria Beckham has apparently been eating the same meal for the past 25 years of her life. While her husband, David Beckham loves to share his meals and has the palate for a wider range of culinary delicacies, Victoria seems to have a much more refined palate. Keep scrolling to read about what famed footballer David Beckham had to say about the Posh Spice.

In an exclusive podcast with Ruthie’s Table 4, David Beckham reveals his wife’s rigid routines when it comes to food, “She only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables; she will very rarely deviate from that,” he laughs as he recalls. “The only time she’s probably ever shared something that’s been on my plate was actually when she was pregnant with Harper, and it was the most amazing thing… Unfortunately, I’m married to someone who has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years.”

“I mean, talk about making me sound boring!” Victoria objected. In an exclusive interview with Vogue Australia, she decided to finally address the rumours about her eating regimen, “No. What he meant is that he’s never met anyone who’s more disciplined with the way that they eat. I eat lots of healthy fat: fish, avocado, nuts, that sort of thing. I do drink alcohol, unless I have a reason not to. I’ll detox from anything for three to six months where I won’t drink. I’m quite extreme in anything I do, whether it’s eating or working out or drinking or not drinking.” Victoria is known for her strict routines and her twice-a-day workouts.

The designer had recently come under fire when she made the chef change the entire menu at a wedding. He commented that her dietary restrictions were rather “strange” and went on to say, “It was complicated giving Victoria her menu that night.” On another podcast with Table 4, the Spice Girl admitted to having a strange palate, “This is where I sound even more boring in the food department. I like whole grain toast with salt on it.” and went on to add that she is probably a restaurant’s “worst nightmare.”

Unlike the singer-turned-fashion designer, Beckham is passionate about cooking and loves to share his meals with the rest of the table. “When I was playing in Italy for 11 months, I was on loan at AC Milan. I’d train in the morning and in the afternoon I decided to take a culinary course in Italian cuisine. I absolutely loved it. I had a few private lessons and then it was in a class.” He occasionally loves to cook with his children and she shares his journey with them on Instagram as well.

Seems like his son, Brooklyn Beckham followed in his footsteps to share his passion for the culinary arts. “I love cooking because it’s one of the few things that I do that takes my mind off of anything that’s happening. Being in the kitchen making food is endless, you can do anything. There’s always something to learn.” He says in a YouTube video posted by Michelin Guide. Seems like most of the Beckhams enjoy a variety of cuisines except for Victoria, who seems to have an aversion to, well, most things ordinary.
