Tiffany & Co. to launch a residency programme under Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa Bint Hamdan

A new generation of designers nurtured by the richness of Emirati culture, architecture and design is brought to life by Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan Al Nahyan and Tiffany & Co. The grand maison has partnered with the Design Commission Abu Dhabi to launch a residency programme, governed by Sheikha Shamsa, the organisation’s chairwoman. Participants will explore the conceptual, creative and technical foundations of jewellery and watch design. Under the mentorship of the house’s two centuries of innovation, members of the programme will develop their own design language through experimentation, research, and material exploration. The global luxury jeweller synonymous with elegance and fine craftsmanship is making way for the future of Emirati talent, following a path carved by Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa.

Bvlgari celebrates the generational resilience of Emirati women

Over the last six years, Bvlgari has meaningfully represented the enduring legacy of Emirati women on Emirati Women’s Day. This year, the jewellery house has seamlessly woven its latest storytelling initiative, paying homage to the rich heritage that continues to shape the nation. The official theme, ‘Together, We Rise Stronger and Better’, announced by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, is honoured by Bvlgari’s short film The Girl I Needed, made in collaboration with Cinema Akil founder Butheina Kazim.

Azza Fahmy brought the art of Egyptian jewellery to the Runway

Pearls of her home: a tribute for Emirati Women’s Day

Emirati women have long been championed as the foundation for the nation – paying homage to this is Dastaangoi in collaboration with Emirati designer Zaina Deesi. Together, they have unveiled a special edition candle: Pearls Of Her Home. The new scent pays homage to the enduring symbolism of the pearl, the date and the intimate ritual of bukhoor – a traditional Arabic incense made from wood chips soaked in fragrant oils, used to scent homes, clothing, and spaces. The candle emits a fragrance of traditional scents within Emirati culture, including oud, sandalwood and vanilla. The candle is housed in a case designed by the Emirati artist, with artwork rooted in a story of memory on the inheritance passed between mothers and daughters. The meaningful tribute is now available on Ounass and at the Dastaangoi store in Alserkal Avenue.

Louis Vuitton’s first fashion & Beauty creative collaboration

Louis Vuitton has unveiled its next chapter in La Beauté to mark its signature monogram’s 130th anniversary. The limited edition capsule brings together the creative forces of ⁠Nicolas Ghesquière, creative director of womenswear, and Dame Pat McGrath, creative director of cosmetics. The debut collaboration is built from a formula of contrasting codes: the soft, feminine Monogram Dune and the bold Monogram Infrarouge, alongside an eyeshadow palette, satin lipstick and nourishing lip balm, as well as a matching edit of small leather goods including a makeup bag, mattifying paper case, lip and eye brush set.  The design includes a contrast of bold and minimalist designs, showcasing the versatility of the Louis Vuitton woman.

Assouline’s latest release is a love letter to Beirut

Luxury coffee table book brand has recently unveiled Beirut Habibi, a love letter to the Lebanese capital.  The book expresses the artistic lineage of Beirut, with a nostalgic collection of archival imagery stretching throughout different eras in time and into the city’s present. Featuring prominent moments of the city’s cultural landscape, including renowned designer Elie Saab’s atelier, the iconic mural of Fairouz and the city’s waterfront. Huda Beauty and Cardi B is the beauty collab we’ve been waiting for

Global superstar Cardi B and iconic brand Huda Beauty have come together for an essential upgrade to your makeup wardrobe. The two powerhouses have come together for the Ultra Snatched Collection, which introduces a unique pairing of pink and lilac with two brand-new shades for its Easy Bake lineup. From September 10, the iconic collab will bring two new pressed powder shades for a brighter and lifted look with 12-hour shine control.
