Charlotte Tilbury has ended its contract with Bella Hadid one year after announcing her ambassadorship with the UK-based beauty brand.

In a statement, the cosmetics company clarified the reason behind the contract termination, stating it was due to the supermodel launching her own beauty brand and not based on the American, Dutch-Palestinian model’s “personal views”.

“Bella Hadid and Charlotte Tilbury Beauty’s professional relationship has come to its end as Bella prepares to launch her own beauty brand,” the statement read, per The Independent. “It is absolutely not the case that any personal views held by Bella impacted our contract or relationship with her.

“As a female-led business, Charlotte Tilbury Beauty continues to support Bella and looks forward to the exciting launch of Orebella later this year.”

At the end of last month, Bella announced the surprise news she would be launching her own brand, Orebella.

The details of what her new venture offers are currently under wraps and the company’s website does not state what the products may include yet. The portal currently lets users sign up for more information and states the date May 2, 2024 – possibly teasing a release on this day.

There are speculations that the brand might be focusing on scent-related items, but we’ll just have to wait and see what the 27-year-old has in store for us.

Bella was named the face of Charlotte Tilbury in March 2023. Her debut campaign in June promoted the new Airbrush Flawless Lip Blur, a hydrating matte liquid lipstick formulated with hyaluronic acid to boost hydration.
