Earlier in the week, Prada Beauty made a triumphant launch on Instagram. While the newly-minted account alludes to an entire beauty category (think skincare, makeup and the works), the first launch in the metier is Prada Paradoxe, a white floral-forward juice housed in a refillable triangular bottle — a reinterpretation of Prada’s iconic logo.

And the face of the new scent? None other than Emma Watson — and a fresh new pixie crop we’re all but obsessed with. Watson not only starred in the visual but also directed it. The UN ambassador and climate activist is a perfect fit — she’s been a friend of the house previously and is very passionate about global warming. The refillable element marks an important step in the right direction for Prada, a house that’s become synonymous with all things cool and progressive.

“I think it was serendipitous that Prada came to me with this project,” Watson said exclusively to Women’s Wear Daily. “It was around the time when I had decided in my heart, and my head, that I wanted to direct something. I found the concept of being a woman who’s a paradox so interesting.

There’s no word yet on the direction of Prada Beauty, and exactly when Pradoxe will drop on Australian soil, but we’re predicting it will join other house icons like Candy, and hopefully mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter for the house.
