Taylor Swift, never one to shy away from dressing as a walking billboard for her music, leaned into her ‘Midnights’-era on Sunday night at the Grammys, attending the awards ceremony in a sparkling navy two-piece set

Shine and sequins ended up being a red carpet theme of the night, worn by everyone from (controversial) Album of the Year winner Harry Styles to Lizzo. And following the ceremony, Swift subtly changed into a second sparkly look.

In new photos, the singer, who threw a Grammys after-party at the Chateau Marmont, is pictured at the event wearing a teal sequin dress, throwing a matching fuzzy coat over the top in some images, as well as her boyfriend Joe Alwyn’s oversized black leather jacket in others.

Though Alwyn didn’t attend the Grammys alongside his long-term girlfriend, he did come out to celebrate afterwards. The couple weren’t photographed together in any of the photos uploaded by guests, however, a source spoke to Entertainment Tonight saying they stayed at the party until late together. “Taylor and Joe attended a Grammys after-party at Chateau Marmont last night. They were there until late, had a great time, and were letting loose,” they said.

Also in attendance at the party, alongside Swift and Alwyn, were Jack Antonoff, Lana Del Rey, Hayley Kiyoko, Troye Sivan and Fletcher.

In an interview with The Guardian in 2019, Swift spoke about why she and Alwyn choose to keep their relationship out of the public eye, saying she’s learnt the boundaries of what she wants to share with people in the context of celebrity.

“I’ve learned that if I do, people think it’s up for discussion, and our relationship isn’t up for discussion,” she said. “If you and I were having a glass of wine right now, we’d be talking about it—but it’s just that it goes out into the world. That’s where the boundary is, and that’s where my life has become manageable. I really want to keep it feeling manageable.”
