Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan made a rare appearance at an event dedicated to endurance riding at the Emirates International Endurance Village, Al Wathba, Abu Dhabi.

Being an avid endurance rider herself the young sheikha kicked off her first royal engagement with utmost poise and elegance. In a recent clip shared by the sporting organisation, Sheikha Fatima was seen attending the endurance aptly named after her – the Sheikha Fatima bint Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Ladies Endurance Cup – interacting with the athletes and presenting them with the coveted trophy.

Sheikha Fatima is the first daughter of His Highness Mansour bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Vice President and Deputy Prime Minister of the UAE, and Her Highness Sheikha Manal bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the eldest child and daughter of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

Although we’ve seen glimpses of the young UAE royal growing up through her mother’s lens, the endurance cup marked a significant moment, making it her first solo engagement. The royal wore a green embroidered jalabiya with a simple black abaya over it and a graceful smile that easily charms a crowd.

The Ladies Endurance Cup is the perfect opportunity for aspiring women riders to excel at the sport and who better to present than the emerging royal of the region?

Much like Sheikha Fatima, her siblings Sheikh Mohammed bin Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikha Latifa bint Mansour bint Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashed bin Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan have all made an appearance at EIEV, putting on display their artist skills and talents. Solidifying the fact that the future leaders of the nation are the ones to watch out for.

Although Sheikha Fatima is only beginning her journey as a working royal, we expect to see a lot more of her in the future.
