In a celebration of academic achievement, Her Excellency Sheikha Sara bint Hamad Al Thani graduated with a master’s degree from the prestigious Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies in Qatar, also marking her first public appearance.
This momentous occasion marked not only no doubt a significant milestone for Sheikha Sara but also a source of great pride and joy for the nation. This ceremony was held in honour of the batch of postgraduate studies from the Joaan Bin Jassim Academy for Defense Studies, an institution overseen and graced by the esteemed presence of His Excellency Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah, Vice Chairman of the Council of Ministers.

Who is Sheikha Sara bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani?
Over the years, Sheikha Sara has been known to keep a relatively low profile.

Her Excellency is the daughter of His Highness the Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the former Emir of the State of Qatar and her mother is Her Highness Sheikha Maryam bint Mohammed bin Hamad Al Thani. She is also the half-sister of the current Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani and Her Excellency Sheikha Al-Mayassa bint Hamad Al-Thani, Co-Chair of Fashion Trust Arabia.
