Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa marked their first anniversary as a married couple over the weekend in a very special way.

As a nod to the next chapter in their lives together, the couple and the Royal Hashemite Court unveiled new photographs of Princess Rajwa and her growing baby bump.

In the photographs, the glowing mother-to-be cradled her baby bump wearing a vibrant red Vernia maxi dress by Alice + Olivia, accessorised with two diamond bangles by the Parisian jewellery brand Rainbow K.

The new official photographs come a couple of months after Crown Prince Hussein and Princess Rajwa unveiled the joyous news they were expecting their first child together. The newest addition to the Jordanian royal family will be the first grandchild for King Abdullah II and Queen Rania.

While these are the first official photographs to be released of the princess since she announced her pregnancy, she was spotted out and about in Amman just after celebrating her 30th birthday at the beginning of May.

Rocking an effortless daytime look, she wore a Seraphine maternity denim jumpsuit paired with a Bottega Veneta Cabat Mini Intrecciato leather tote bag and trainers. The royal mum-to-be seems to be well in preparation mode to welcome her first child, as she was seen out in Jordan’s capital leaving a store that sells home décor, including baby items. The video circulating online has left royal watchers even more excited about how far along she is.

When is Princess Rajwa due to give birth?

In a statement released by the Royal Hashemite Court to announce Princess Rajwa’s pregnancy, it was confirmed the couple would welcome their first born in summer.

“Their Royal Highnesses Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein are expecting their first baby this summer,” the statement read.

Typically, pregnancy announcements are made after the first trimester, indicating that Princess Rajwa is likely between three to six months along. With this timeframe in mind, the baby could arrive anytime between June and September.
