There’s only one thing that tops a cute celebrity couple red carpet moment and that’s celebrity BFFs. Better yet, celebrities who met on set decades ago and who have remained close friends throughout their lives and careers.
Case in point: Michelle Williams and Busy Philipps, who met during their time on the cult teen TV show Dawson’s Creek in the early aughts and who have been inseparable ever since.
For the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards in Los Angeles, Williams and Philipps opted to go as each other’s plus ones, walking the red carpet separately before giving the people what they want: more bestie pics to fawn over.
Williams, who’s been hitting the awards show circuit for her role in the recently released film The Fabelmans, arrived on the carpet first, wore a Grecian goddess-esque gold sparkly dress by Louis Vuitton, featuring one a shoulder design and beaded fringe embellishments.
The actress paired the look with a statement Petal Fringe Necklace by Tiffany & Co, Inside-Out Hoop Earrings in Platinum with Diamonds, and a Schlumberger Stitches Ring, also by Tiffany & Co. She wore her blonde hair styled into loose waves.
Philipps, meanwhile, wore a structured dark grey dress with a lighter grey shawl and her (freshly coloured) pink hair in a middle part.
The two women look fabulous on their own, but, as always, even better together.
