Awards season is in full swing in Los Angeles where, despite recent uncharismatic downpours in the city where the sun usually lives almost full-time, celebrities across both television and film have come out in droves for the 28th annual Critics Choice Awards.
One such A-lister is Anya Taylor-Joy who hit the red carpet at Fairmont Century Plaza on Sunday afternoon wearing an elevated take on the naked dress trend.
The actress, who is presenting an award during the ceremony which is hosted by Chelsea Handler, wore a see-through gown by her go-to fashion house, Dior, with beaded embellishments and a full skirt.
Adding to the sparkle, Taylor-Joy wore a silver heart pendant around her neck by Tiffany & Co., made with over 20 carats of diamonds. She added diamond earrings, a matching diamond bracelet, and a ring by the iconic jewellery label and wore strappy, sequin heels, likely by Dior, which she’s worn almost exclusively since signing on as the house’s global brand ambassador in October 2021.
Finishing her old Hollywood-esque look by wearing her signature blonde hair pulled up into a statement bun, adding dark eyeliner and a light pink lip, the 26-year-old, who is currently being buzzed about for her recent role in the film The Menu, proved, once again, exactly why she’s become such a fashion darling of the industry.
