Our favourite guilty pleasure is back for a new season, and we are expecting a new set of singles and a lot more pod dramas. On Tuesday, Netflix announced that season 4 of its hit dating show Love Is Blind will be premiering on 24th March. The teaser for the new season was dropped, but the cast still remains a mystery.

We have had plenty of dating shows, but the concept of Love Is Blind stands out as the contestants never meet until they fall for each other giving preference to emotional bonding over physical attraction. Speaking through walls from their segregated pods through a series of speed dating, they are only given a chance to meet face-to-face if one of the daters extends a marriage proposal whenever they feel ready and it’s accepted. The couple is then whisked away to a romantic beach resort for a quasi-honeymoon. Following the honeymoon, the newly engaged couples will move in together, plan their wedding, and see if their physical connection matches the emotional relationship formed in the pods. Anticipation is created for the finale, the wedding day, where the audience will await if they will marry the person they fell blindly in love with, or break up at the altar. It’s all sorts of chaos and drama.

Each of the first three seasons finished with two couples saying yes at the altar. Alexa/Brennon and Colleen/Matt are still married and living happily in Dallas, according to the current Love Is Blind: Beyond the Altar season 3.
