Love Is Blind UK has just premiered its third season on Netflix, and chances are your attention has been piqued by Yasmin Toseafa. The 32-year-old based in London is one of the latest singles to enter the intriguing pods. She’s caught the audience’s attention because of her genuine disposition and warm personality.
For those unfamiliar, the reality TV series attempts to form connections between couples relying exclusively on their partner’s voices and personalities. Couples can only meet face-to-face after a marriage proposal is made and accepted.

Yasmin Toseafa is a UK-born star on the latest season of Netflix’s Love Is Blind UK. Aged 32, she is of mixed African and Middle Eastern descent, having been born to an Egyptian-Lebanese mother and a Ghanaian father.
Based in London at the time of filming, Yasmin works as a physician associate. She also models on the side and has competed as a Miss Universe Great Britain finalist.
On the show, Yasmin openly spoke about how her upbringing was a strict one, and her parents did not encourage her to date. That upbringing, combined with her family’s cultural and religious values, contributed to her entering the show without ever having been in a relationship or in love. She also went to an all-girls’ school.
Her Journey With Vitiligo
In the show, Yasmin revealed she was diagnosed with vitiligo at the age of eight. The skin condition means areas of her body lose melanin over time and form white patches.
Growing up, it caused the model so much insecurity that she would use makeup to hide her appearance. However, she has now decided to put down the brush, crediting beauty pageants and her modelling career for her newfound confidence.
Her Knowledge Of Arabic
During one of her conversations in the Love Is Blind pods, Yasmin describes her desire for love through the Arabic term “Maktoub”, which literally translates to “it is written.” It refers to the Western concept of fate or destiny, reflecting the belief that the future is prewritten. She uses it to explain her outlook on finding the right connection.
Her Career
The reality TV star is a model and a Miss Universe GB finalist, but she is also a physician associate. In the UK, that means she is a trained medical professional who works akin to a General Practitioner, but under the supervision of a doctor. Yasmin talks about her passion for the job on the show and explains that she loves helping people, especially the elderly. When she’s off duty, she continues to work on her Arabic, strums the guitar and salsa dances.

On the show, Yasmin matches with Jordan – a 29-year-old teacher and former soldier from Birmingham.
