Hello London Fashion Week!
After what feels like a century of living in a much-reduced world with no live events or in-person shows, it feels utterly refreshing to see London Fashion Week breathing a breath of fresh air with its return to the fashion scene. This past week filled the streets of London with the seasons biggest shows, showcasing the top collections for spring-summer 2022.
And now, with a full schedule of non-digital events, photographers are roaming the streets capturing the chicest street style looks from editors, buyers, stylists and your everyday fashionistas as they go from location to location. This seasons street style is shaping to be particularly special in the city, with creatives celebrating post-lockdown and dusting off their favourite ensembles they’ve been dying to wear (and we’ve been dying to see.)
Fashionistas across the globe opted for loads of lustrous leather, preppy school-girl vibes, an array of highlighter hues from neon green suits to bright orange shirt dresses, and even styling our everyday white blouse in the chicest way.
This time, however, the sleek statement pieces showcased versatility with fashion week attendees dressing down their looks with chic sneakers or loafers and even dressing up their athleisure wear with the most prominent on-trend stilettos. Elsewhere on the streets, we saw bold blazers, frilly collars and pleated ensembles from head-to-toe.
