And just like that, fashion month has wrapped up its first stop of the season: New York.
For the first time since February 2020, in-person events have officially taken place, and we couldn’t have been happier. During this years NYFW event, team Grazia jetted off to the big apple to attend a jam-packed schedule of shows and events, from Tory Burch to Moschino and beyond. Fashion month is the biggest month of the year for any fashion editor, and it just so happens I have my own version of this little checklist. Except mine has a little more to do with statement trends, eye-catching shoes and street style-worthy outfits.
Now, as we all know, fashion week is all about seeing runway shows and discovering what designers are betting on big for the season to come, but it’s also a time to explore your style and bring out your best looks. In my opinion, there’s no better place to experiment with your style than New York; it allows you to get creative with what you already have and prepare some fire looks around the city. And this year, street style is well and alive, with influencers, editors and celebrities pulling off mixed patterns and bold colour choices outside of the shows (now is not the time to blend in with a crowd.)
