Lindsay has managed to keep her personal life under wraps, occasionally spilling a few details now and then about her husband and their relationship. She announced her engagement to Kuwaiti financier Bader Shammas in November 2021 on an Instagram post, captioning it, “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love 💍 11.11.21″ Later in 2022, there were speculations that the couple had secretly tied the knot. According to People Magazine, the Mean Girls star had taken to Instagram gushing about her new husband before taking the post down. It said, “🎂❤️🥰I am the luckiest woman in the world. Not because I need a man, but because he found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that this is my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 💖🙏.” More recently, she shared an image of her and her husband for their first anniversary together.
Her happy streak doesn’t end here. Earlier this year in April she announced her pregnancy by posting a series of pictures with her friends and family celebrating the good news. Long-time friend Paris Hilton also commented on the post saying, “So happy for you love!🥰” In an interview with Allure she reveals the emotions and excitement she felt during her pregnancy, “I can’t wait to see what the feeling is and what it’s like to just be a mom.” She further added that she had been talking to her co-star from Freaky Friday, Jamie-Lee Curtis who had a few words of advice to spare, “You just bring the baby with you and everything will be fine.”
Lohan has received lots of love and support during her pregnancy, “Well, I have an amazing husband, who’s a very calm person. Just the best. And my family. And I feel like I have a small group of good friends who are just really good people. That’s the only support that I really need: friends, family, and loved ones,” she reveals in an interview with Cosmopolitan.
Looks like Lindsay also has some exciting collaborations with Nestig, a furniture and decor company catering to kids and a line of baby clothes in store for us. A source close to her revealed to Us Weekly, “She’s ready for motherhood. It’s always been a dream for her. She feels being a mom will make her a better actress, businesswoman and wife.” She has also expressed the desire to have more kids. Seems like she’s all set and ready to be a mother.
