Hollywood’s most infamous bachelor Leonardo DiCaprio has only been back on the market for a matter of weeks, but already – rather unsurprisingly – the Oscar-winning actor has been pursuing yet another young, hot, former Victoria’s Secret model.
In a surprising turn of events, however, this gorgeous woman is not only already firmly established in her career, fame, and power, she’s also over the age of 25 and is a mother.
But if anyone could get DiCaprio to sway, ever so slightly, from his usual type (younger, without children, less famous than him), it’s supermodel and recent knitwear label founder, Gigi Hadid, who DiCaprio has reportedly been “pursuing” in recent weeks.
According to multiple sources who spoke with PEOPLE, the pair have been hanging out in New York City recently. “They are getting to know each other,” one source told the outlet, adding they aren’t “dating” just yet.
“Leo is definitely pursuing Gigi,” another source tells PEOPLE, while a third adds, “They’ve been seen hanging out with groups of people. It’s only been a few weeks since the split [his break up with actress Camila Morrone]. Since then, he’s been hanging out with friends and family.”
Other sources told Us Weekly recently that DiCaprio does have his “eyes set” on Hadid, but said the pair are just “friends” as she reportedly “doesn’t want to be romantic with [him] right now.”
Furthermore, Page Six spoke to a separate source who noted that a few of DiCaprio’s close friends, including his art dealer Helly Nahmad, were spotted attending Hadid’s Guest in Residence launch party at Le Chalet in L’Avenue at Saks last week. However, they weren’t able to confirm whether DiCaprio himself made an appearance.
DiCaprio and Morrone ended their four-year relationship last month, sending the internet into meltdown mode given the break-up happened mere months after Morrone turned 25 — making her the oldest person he’s ever publicly dated, despite being 47 himself.
