Kourtney Kardashian and her husband Travis Barker have announced their pregnancy in the cutest way possible. Kourtney, 44, made the announcement with a nod to her husband’s band, Blink-182, and their music video, All The Small Things. Following their pregnancy announcement, people have already started speculating on potential baby names on social media. The Kardashians are known for giving their children the most unusual names making everyone wonder what the punk rock couple’s unborn child will be named. So, what baby name can we expect from the Kardashian-Barker duo?
The reality star’s sister, Kim Kardashian shocked the world when she revealed the name of her firstborn, North West. She soon followed suit and named the rest of her children unique names, with Saint, Chicago,(named after Kanye West’s hometown) and Psalm. The idea for Psalm West’s name, according to Kris Jenner, came from the Bible’s Book of Psalms, she said in an interview with ET Online.
Makeup mogul, Kylie Jenner and rapper Travis Scott have also made headlines regarding the name of their son. They had previously named their second-born, Wolf Jacques. She explained on their show, The Kardashians, how she received the name recommendation from her older sister Khloe Kardashian, “We had to sign the birth certificate 24 hours prior, or otherwise, they just register him without a name and he doesn’t get a social security number… So I felt pressed to select a name, and then Khloe asked, ‘what about Wolf?'” In an exclusive interview with Entertainment Tonight, Kylie revealed that they had changed the baby’s name, “There’s nothing against Wolf, it just wasn’t him.” She later took to Instagram to address the name change rumours and revealed the new name a year later, “FYI our son’s name isn’t Wolf anymore,” before revealing in a series of Instagram pictures, that his name is Aire Webster.
The family is no stranger to such creative names, just like sisters Kim and Kylie, Khloe Kardashian opted for naming her firstborn daughter True and recently revealed the name of her son Tatum, following the theme of the letter T. Can we anticipate something similar from Kourtney and Travis as well? Fans on Twitter have reason to believe the couple might name their child something, well, distinctive.

Unlike her sisters, Kourtney seemingly has common names for her three children, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick. With her first son, Mason Dash Disick, the first Kardashian baby to be born on the show. “It was the only one that stuck with me. Right before he was born, I told my aunt we were thinking about going with that for a name. She told me that Mason means the same thing in English that Kardashian means in Armenian — stone worker,” she says in an interview with Life&Style magazine. She named her second child, Penelope Scotland Disick and her third Reign Aston Disick.
Many suggested that the couple might follow a punk/goth theme in naming their baby. One user suggested, “What if they name the kid Blink?” in reference to Travis Barker’s band Blink-182. Another user chimed in suggesting that Kourtney might name her baby after Disney characters, “Mickey” or “Minnie,” in retrospect to the reality star’s love for Disney. Some fans even pointed out that Travis had left a comment on one of Kourtney’s posts on Instagram saying, “Our son’s name would be Elvis.”
