Kim Kardashian just proved she’s her mother’s daughter – AKA a PR and marketing genius – by releasing her most iconic SKIMS campaign to date: one that features former Victoria’s Secret Angels and supermodels Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum, Alessandra Ambrosio and Candice Swanepoel in the foursome’s first-ever join campaign.
In the images released to Instagram, the four women pose together wearing the label’s best-selling ‘Fits Everybody’ collection for its new Icons campaign. “It doesn’t get more iconic than this,” the copy on the post reads, revealing that despite them all working for Victoria’s Secret, and Klum and Banks’ over two-decade-long careers, they’ve never starred alongside each other for a brand before.
Following the reveal, Kardashian herself posted a gallery that included an extra icon amid the group: her.
“OK so I wasn’t supposed to be in this @SKIMS campaign but I stopped by and jumped in because it was too iconic,” she wrote. “Introducing Tyra, Heidi, Alessandra and Candice wearing our signature SKIMS Fits Everybody collection.”
Banks also shared a gallery from the campaign on Instagram, revealing she hadn’t modelled lingerie since retiring from the runway back in 2005. “When @KimKardashian called me with the idea to reunite these incredible women and me for @SKIMS, I was intrigued,” she wrote. “And here we are! I hadn’t modelled lingerie and undergarments since I retired from the runway, but it was like riding a bike.”
She continued, “The poses came back even fiercer than before! I’m rocking their Fits Everybody collection which is just as comfy as it looks. And yep, Kim…I’m now obsessed.”
“It has been a while since we were all together so it was so special to be reunited,” Klum added in her own post. “Thank you @kimkardashian for making it happen. 🖤”
