When it comes to the Kardashians, the saying ‘you can’t make this up’ couldn’t be more on point. The amount of drama that follows the family is too much for even Kris Jenner to be behind, something proven for the umpteenth time this week when it came to light that Khloé Kardashian is expecting a second child via surrogate with Tristan Thompson.

ICYMI, that’s thee Tristan Thompson who cheated on Khloé not once, but twice during her first pregnancy to him, then again with her younger sister, Kylie Jenner’s, former BFF Jordyn Woods. Then, after grovelling for months to get Khloé back, he did it once again last year, this time going a step further by knocking up personal trainer, Maralee Nichols, who has since given birth to a son, Theo Thompson, by him.

It appears Khloé found out the surrogate was pregnant in November, just one month before this latest batch of drama was served. “The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloe and the public that Tristan was having a baby with someone else,” a source told E! News earlier this week.

According to reports, thankfully, they’re not back together: reports say Khloe and Tristan haven’t spoken since December, when news broke of his cheating again, outside of co-parenting matters.

Now, another insider has confirmed to E! News the exes are expecting a baby boy, which Khloe’s sister Kim had previously said she was hoping for, while another has revealed even Khloe’s closest friends and family weren’t yet told about the impending second child when the internet found out.

“Khloé kept the pregnancy a secret to protect surrogate privacy and safety, and to protect her mental health from judgement from the public as a result of Tristan’s actions,” a source told E!

“Khloé’s hand was forced to confirm the pregnancy before she was ready to announce,” the source explained, noting that Kardashian issued the statement “even before she had the opportunity to personally tell her closest family and friends,” who learned of the news the same way the public did: on the internet.
