When it comes to nepotism babies, it’s perhaps their high-powered family connections that’s their most enviable quality.
Take for instance Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik’s three-year-old daughter Khai, who not only has the unique ability of calling Bella Hadid her aunt, but also counts the likes of Blake Lively, Taylor Swift and Kendall Jenner as some of her closest family friends.
Over the weekend, the littlest Hadid proved her power by summoning some of the most notable faces in Hollywood to a sensory play park in downtown Manhattan to celebrate her 3rd birthday party.
As reported by Page Six, guests for Khai’s slime-themed birthday party included Blake and members of Gigi’s family like her supermodel sister, musician brother Anwar and older half-sister, Marielle Hadid.
Marielle subsequently shared a photo of herself with her two younger half-sisters on Instagram (which has also been circulated via fan accounts) engaging in some slime-y fun.
A source speaking to the tabloid publication revealed the party involved guests “creating their custom slimes and even getting slimed”, which is iconic to think that the last time Blake was near slime in public was back in her Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants era at the 2005 Kid’s Choice Awards.
Gigi hasn’t taken to social media to share any photos from the party, though we did get a sneak peek of the low-key dress code courtesy of inconspicuous paparazzi photos of Bella stepping onto a helipad in New York.
For the occasion, the 26-year-old looked to an all-white ensemble consisting of a pointelle tank top, calf-length capri pants, a striped button-down shirt and satin Miu Miu ballet flats.
Gigi has been co-parenting her daughter with the former One Direction member since they split in 2021. Both Hadid and Malik have endeavoured to keep Khai as private as possible, with the former couple adamant about keeping photos of the toddler’s face off the internet.
In August, we got a rare update into Khai’s life, with Gigi sharing a suite of images of Khai out and about on her Pennsylvanian farm. Before you know it, Khai will be in the kitchen cooking up Gigi’s pasta recipe. Oh, how the time flies.
